Per Diem CRNA Opening –Danbury Hospital, Danbury, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City)
Nuvance Health is seeking a per diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our employed medical group at our Danbury Hospital in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Our CRNAs and Anesthesiologists are employed by Nuvance Health Medical Practice. We will also consider new graduates into our dynamic learning environment. Position includes some cross coverage to New Milford and Norwalk Hospitals.
Our highly experienced team of approximately 40 physicians and 40 CRNAs provides 24/7 coverage. Cases include spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, established program that includes teaching to residents, medical students and CRNA students. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses.
Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 900+employed physicians, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
Danbury, Connecticut, located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and on the border of New York State, is about 60 miles northeast of New York City and 60 miles west of Hartford, CT. This beautiful suburban location boasts excellent housing and school systems.
